The Purple Book

The Purple Book is a story based off of a tale from Hercules. The premise of this project was to connect color with its true meaning in a story-like form. Purple has historically been considered the color of royalty and wealth, so much that purple tripled the price of gold. The story takes these concepts and applies them to a short journal created by a fisherman who discovers this phenomenon known as the color purple. Project created for digital layout and design class.
